Manga Editor Desu is a browser-based manga and comic page editor. It runs entirely on your own machine — there is no installation, no account and no server component — but the editing canvas itself needs JavaScript enabled.
It provides 69 panel layout templates, 48 speech bubble styles, 156 bundled fonts, 31 decorative image-text styles, 8 pen brushes, 5 screentone generators, 15 image filters, 25 blend modes, layer management and print-resolution export. AI image generation is optional and runs through a backend you configure yourself: ComfyUI, RunPod ComfyUI, SD WebUI (AUTOMATIC1111 or Forge), Fal.ai, Grok or Ollama.
